Our Vision
Our vision is to operate not only ethically, but strategically in carrying out the goals of Bettner Vision. Through the use of technology and eye care treatments, Bettner Vision can provide exceptional comprehensive and diagnostic patient care.
Dr. Christopher Bettner has been serving the optometric needs of Colorado Springs since 1995. He is trained in ocular pathology with an emphasis on the treatment and management of ocular disease, including diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and pre- and post-operative care.
Dr. Bettner received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Indiana University in 1991 and his Doctorate in optometry from Indiana University in 1995. He has been a member in good standing of the American Optometric Board and the Colorado Optometric Association for 15 years.
Besides being an avid golf enthusiast, Dr. Bettner enjoys spending time with his wife, Gretchen, and three children, Jordan, Nick, and Erin.
Dr. Brendan Tobler received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in exercise science in 2012. Dr. Tobler then went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University in 2016, where he was a member of the Sports Vision Club and Vice President of the Professional Practice Club. He completed his external rotations at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center in Chillicothe, OH, and Family Eye Care Centers in Sandusky, OH.
Dr. Tobler is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Colorado Optometric Association. He participates in the InfantSEEⓇ program for children 6 months of age and older. He has practiced optometry at multiple locations across Colorado for over 3 years since he graduated.
He loves spending time with his wife, Meg, and their two daughters, Hazel and Olive, who keep him on his toes. They like to run as a family, snowboard, cook and are active in their local church.
